Who we are
SAKAVEGE — Sakashita Farm — got started in 2021 in Sanuki City, Kagawa. The two frogs on our logo are the SAKAVEGE mascots watching over the field. We grow okra, garlic and Kagawa hontaka chili, each in its own season, using as few pesticides as possible — harvesting in the cool morning hours and shipping everything the same day.
How it works
We head to the field at daybreak and hand-pick everything at its crispest.
Soil and outer leaves stay on — old farm wisdom for keeping freshness in.
Boxes leave by refrigerated delivery the morning after harvest, field scent included.
From our customers
I've been using the okra in all kinds of dishes. Looking forward to ordering again.
Megurin
My first order — the okra was so tender. I shared some with a friend and they loved it too.
Mikan
Ordered the 1kg bulk pack and it was even more tender than I expected. Great for freezing a batch for later.
